We’ve probably all read about all of the health benefits that come with using vinegar for health. It makes both food and health sense to incorporate it into your diet on a daily basis. At first ithis can seem somewhat difficult to think of ways to add it, especially every day. But, with a little creative thinking, it is not that hard to do. Here’s some ideas about incorporating apple cider vinegar into your diet.
An Easy Way to Add to Diet….Salads
One of the easiest food ways is to eat salads. As part of a healthy diet, salads should be eaten regularly. They are loaded with vitamins and nutrients along with adding fiber. Apple cider vinegar makes a great salad dressing. With it’s strong taste not much is needed for flavor. Try adding it to homemade mayonnaise for or even mustard for an extra kick.
Another way to use it is as a marinade for various meats such as chicken, pork or steak. Make a homemade marinade and forget about the store bought variety. Adding apple cider vinegar to the mix will give the meat a delicious flavor and taste.

Grilled Chicken with Apple Cider Vinegar Marinade
prep time: 20 min * cook: 20 min
- Skinless, boneless chicken breasts….or fresh drumsticks
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Herb Seasoning
- Sea Salt
- Other seasonings of your choice
1. Using a Ziploc bag, pleace chicken in bag
2. Add the herb seasoning, sea salt, pepper, other seasoning and the Apple Cider Vinegar
3. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes or even overnight
4. Warm your grill and once ready place chicken on grill at 350-375 degrees
5. Rotate chicken every 5-7 minutes, turning to ensure even cooking
6. Chicken is finished when temperature reaches 170 degrees or the juices run dry
Making Your Own Homemade Juices
Adding a small amount of apple cider vinegar to homemade juices can take it up a notch. By using fresh fruits and vegetables to make homemade juices it will provide a much healthier option than buying the conventionally made juices from the local grocery store. You’ll find that they have far more vitamins and have not gone through any pasteurization or distilling processes, thus they are healthier.
Can It Help With Indigestion?
Stomach problems and Indigestion bothers many people for a variety of reasons and it’s often difficult to cope. Rather than using a commercially made solution, apple cider vinegar can provide much needed relief. Try adding two teaspoons to distilled water along with some fresh ginger to create an effective treatment. The pectin and the antibiotic properties of the apple cider vinegar contributes greatly to soothing the stomach.
Exercise should be a regular part of any healthy lifestyle. It provides countless benefits such as weight loss, stress relief and keeps the body physically fit. Sometimes, however, a person can experience fatigue after a workout. Apple cider vinegar can help with that as well. Try adding a few drops to a bottle of water which can provide a much needed energy boost and is also one more way to add it to your diet.
